Information about python leather: Python leather differs in size and thickness of the scales mainly by the subtype and age of the animal. The older the snake is, the wider and larger the scales become and therefore stand out more than the skins of younger animals.
We purchase the python skins exclusively from tanneries and traders from Italy and Spain, who receive the skins from certified breeding farms. In accordance with the guidelines of the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, all python skins have a CITES certificate that precisely documents their origin. The breeding farms have committed themselves to release a part of the animals back into the wild and thus make a contribution to the conservation of the species.
